L’AINE Foundation has officially inaugurated the 2026 cohort of the Ellen Hagan Nsoromma Program alongside the launch of Aqua Play Haven, a new child-friendly, community-centred facility designed to support working mothers and promote family wellbeing.
The dual event took place in Accra on Friday, March 27, 2026, attracting distinguished leaders, past cohorts, families, partners, and young women of the new
cohort.
The dual ceremony was marked by inspiring messages, a renewed sense of purpose, and the unveiling of a space dedicated to empowering both women and families. Very Rev. Dr. Solomon Nortey led a heartfelt dedication of the Aqua Play Haven facility, offering prayers for longevity, service, and divine impact. He reminded attendees that anything committed to God will prosper and endure, and he blessed the facility as an extension of the work the church must continue to do in the community.
The event also welcomed Mrs. Abena Osei-Poku, Managing Director of Ecobank Ghana as the Guest of Honour, whose presence and support reinforced the Foundation’s broader mission of building strong communities. She joined the leadership team on a guided tour of the new facility, celebrating its potential to ease the pressures faced by working mothers by providing a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for children.
Founder Dr. Mrs. Ellen Hagan delivered a keynote, reflecting on the growing need for structure, mentorship, and intentional development for women balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, and personal identity. She highlighted the real gap that exists between women’s potential and the support systems available to help them thrive.
Aqua Play Haven, she emphasised, is a practical response to this gap, offering not just childcare, but community, connection, and relief.
Past Nsoromma participants shared brief but heartfelt testimonies about how the program had shaped their careers, confidence, and sense of purpose.
Many described the initiative as transformative, providing guidance through difficult seasons, inspiring new professional pathways, and helping them develop discipline, confidence, and clarity about their future.
The Nsoromma Program, now entering its third cohort, remains one of Ghana’s most comprehensive women’s development initiatives.
Over its 10-month period, participants referred to as Nsoromma will engage in mentorship circles, leadership coaching, industry shadowing, life skills training, and spiritual grounding.
The program continues to blend personal development with professional exposure, equipping young women to navigate their Christian faith, careers, relationships, and inner lives with intention and excellence.
The launch event concluded with photo sessions, networking, and engagement among partners, alumni, and new participants, marking the beginning of an inspiring journey for the third cohort of the Ellen Hagan Nsoromma Program and a new chapter for the Aqua Play Haven facility.
