The Ghana National Gas Company has confirmed that the technical issue at its Atuabo Gas Processing Plant, which led to intermittent power supply on Wednesday, September 25, has been rectified.

The disruption resulted from a plant equipment trip affecting gas flow rates, but Ghana Gas engineers quickly restored operations.

In a statement, the head of Corporate Communications at Ghana Gas, Ernest Owusu-Bempeh said, “We’re currently flowing at 40MMscfd which is about 45% of our normal flow. Our team is working assiduously around the clock to ensure the stability of the plant.”
