Dr Kusi Boachi Yiadom has won the Council of State elections in the Bono Region.
Dr. Kusi Boachi Yiadom, who is also the Omanhene of the Suma Traditional Area with the stool name Odeneho Afram Brempong III, polled 16 votes out of the 24 votes to beat nine other contenders.
The other results were Nana Aful Kyere, 4, Dominic Adu-Gyimah 0, Umar Adam Sulemana,2, Nana Ankamah Bosomtwe II, 0, Mary Nana Adjeiwaa 0, Nicholas Saddari, 2, Peter Kwadwo Ackom 0, Daniel Owusu Brempong 0, and Eric Kofi Appiah 0.
The results were declared by the Bono Regional Director of the Electoral Commission, Guggisberg Ashirifi Young.
