Etranzact Ghana awarded best fintech company

eTranzact Ghana, a leading payments technology service provider, has been honoured with the ‘Fintech Company of the Year’ award at the 4th Ghana Fintech Awards.

The prestigious event occurred on March 1, 2025, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

The Ghana Fintech Awards, organised by the Ghana FinTech and Payments Association in collaboration with Arkel Limited, aim to recognise and celebrate excellence within Ghana’s fintech ecosystem.

This year’s awards featured 25 categories, reflecting the industry’s rapid growth and innovation.

Under the theme “Building Trust in Ghana’s Digital Economy: The Essential Role of Cybersecurity and Data Privacy,” the event emphasised the critical importance of trust, security, and privacy in driving Ghana’s digital transformation.

Receiving the award on behalf of eTranzact Ghana, Chief Executive Officer Dr. John Obeng Apea expressed gratitude to customers, staff, and management for their relentless efforts in fostering a collaborative environment that sparks innovation and enhances service delivery.

Dr. Apea stated, “This recognition as ‘Fintech Company of the Year’ and Leading Payment Technologies Solution for the second time is a testament to our unwavering commitment to innovation, security, and financial inclusion.

“As pioneers in Ghana’s fintech space, we have led the charge in transforming digital payments for two decades, continuously evolving to meet the needs of businesses and consumers.

“Celebrating 20 years this year, this award serves as both an achievement and a challenge—pushing us to build even more robust, cutting-edge technology that will redefine the future of digital payments in Ghana and beyond.

“We remain dedicated to shaping a secure and seamless digital financial ecosystem that empowers individuals and businesses alike,” Apea stated.
