Supreme Court nominee Justice Hafisata Amaleboba has expressed her commitment to upholding integrity, diligence, and legal excellence as she seeks a place on Ghana’s highest court.
Speaking during her vetting by Parliament’s Appointments Committee, Justice Amaleboba shared her vision for her judicial legacy, saying, “I want to be remembered as a hardworking judge, one with integrity, an assiduous judge and one who sets precedents that will stand the test of time.”
Her remarks reflect a strong dedication to shaping Ghana’s legal landscape through rulings that not only resolve current issues but also serve as enduring legal standards for future generations.
Justice Amaleboba is among seven justices of the Court of Appeal nominated by President John Dramani Mahama for elevation to the nation’s highest court, in line with Article 144 (2) of the 1992 Constitution.
The others include Justice Sir Dennis Dominic Adjei, Justice Gbiel Simon Suurbaareh, Justice Senyo Dzamefe, Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo, Justice Philip Bright Mensah, and Justice Janapare Bartels-Kodwo.
