The Omanhene of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempon Nyanful Krampah XI, has renewed calls for Ghanaians in the Diaspora to invest in real estate and other industrial ventures to create jobs and wealth for the youth in Gomoa.
Obrempon Krampah assured potential investors that all lands in Gomoa are litigation-free, guaranteeing that projects in the area would yield positive returns.
He made the remarks while cutting the sod for the construction of the affordable housing project, “Angel City,” at Gomoa Osamkrom in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region. The project is spearheaded by Mrs Angelina Ainoson, Chief Executive Officer of the company.
As Overlord of the Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area, Obrempon Krampah pledged to ensure that investors in housing schemes, industries, and companies face no challenges. He emphasised the project’s economic benefits, particularly job creation for locals, and urged Mrs Ainoson to employ local artisans to boost the area’s economy.
He further encouraged Ghanaians in the Diaspora and foreign investors to channel resources into Gomoa, highlighting the traditional authorities’ readiness to safeguard investments from land disputes.
“The chiefs in Gomoa Ajumako Traditional Area are eager for development,” he said, urging investors to consider the area for projects that will create jobs and reduce poverty. Obrempon Krampah also appealed to fellow chiefs to prioritise peace and development, avoiding disputes and litigation that often result in property destruction and loss of lives.
Mrs. Ainoson expressed gratitude to the Omanhene and his chiefs for their support and assured that artisans and other workers would be recruited locally from Gomoa Osamkrom and Agona Swedru. She revealed that Angel City would also include a kindergarten, police station, market, and entertainment centre to enhance the quality of life for residents.
