Pure, unsullied love is brewing at Achimota Retail Centre (ARC), as the mall unpacks a heavily loaded itinerary for a three-day spell of love-filled romance and fun; an extravaganza which the management calls, a festival of love.

The mall’s package for the 2026 Valentine season comprises a combined bouquet of love, entertainment, fun and an unbeatable shopping experience for customers and patrons.

“From Friday, the 13th to Sunday, the 15th of February, the Centre will transform into a hub, the headquarters, for the 2026 Valentine season where true love will be ignited with romantic music, good food, entertainment and an excellent experience for shoppers seeking unbeatable discounts,” said Marketing Manager Linda Pappoe.

The Ghanaian saxophone colossus, MickSax, will start the business of painting the Centre red on Friday night, with his virtuosic style of play, and mesmerize revelers, patrons and lovers with collections of his sentimental melodies and lyrical tones.

The Centre turns all red as the ‘festival of love’ heightens on Saturday, Valentine’s day itself; gift stations will open at vantage points of the Centre where visitors can purchase coveted gift items for their loved ones at incredible discount prices and a well set up photo booth has been mounted for friends and partners to capture their special moments together.

The highpoint of the love season comes later in the evening as the Centre comes alive and all bubbly with the headliner engagement – a big live band performance by the sensational afro-jazz artiste – ‘Adomaa’. The Ghanaian-Nigerian songstress brings in a refreshing new surge of unique artistry to the world of music with her personal style: an exclusive mélange of jazz soul and Afrobeat.

For Sunday, the Centre has thoughtfully laid out a special engagement, probably to manage anticipated love spillovers and hangovers: an evening of serene acoustic guitar music, delivered from the slick fingers of ‘Six String’ a popular Ghanaian ace guitarist, vocalist and poet.

“So, this year’s Valentine package is a complete redefinition of the way to express and experience love this season, as we have infused live refreshing music, good food, entertainment and unbeatable discounts for our shoppers into the mix,” the Marketing Manager said, adding that persons who sought to know more about what to expect could visit ARC’s social media handles, achimotaretailcentre on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, or the website at www.achimotaretailcentre.com .

Patrons, shoppers, and plain fun-seekers at ARC are catered for by a well-balanced tenant mix of Ghanaian and international brands and the mall offers a wide variety of products and services including groceries, lifestyle, beauty and wellness products; electronics and telecommunication; budget and designer fashion and clothing, gifts and high value jewelry; banking and financial services; pharmacy; restaurants and eateries; entertainment, recreation and children’s games.

Located at Dome, near St Johns SHS, along the Accra-Nsawam Highway, Achimota Mall has provided residents of Accra’s north-eastern suburbs with access to both basic necessities and luxuries from under one roof – a convenience factor which was previously not available in that part of Accra.
