Grief and sorrow have filled the air as family, friends, and colleagues bid a heartbreaking farewell to 29-year-old Charles Amissah, who lost his life in a tragic hit-and-run accident at Circle in Accra.

The young professional’s untimely death has left loved ones devastated, with many struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss of a life described as vibrant, hardworking, and full of promise.

Charles Amissah reportedly died after being struck by an unidentified vehicle in a hit-and-run incident at the busy Kwame Nkrumah Circle enclave in Accra.

The driver involved in the incident is said to have fled the scene, leaving the victim fatally injured. The circumstances surrounding the accident have deepened the pain of the family, who are still seeking answers and justice.

On Friday, February 27, mourners clad in black and red streamed into the Methodist Resurrection Church, where the solemn service was held.

The atmosphere was heavy with emotion as tears flowed freely during tributes and prayers.

Family members wept openly as they remembered Charles as a devoted son and sibling whose kindness and humility defined his character.

Colleagues from Promasidor Ghana, where Charles worked, were also in attendance to honour their fallen co-worker.

Many of them struggled to contain their emotions as they recounted his dedication to his job and his strong work ethic. Some described him as a team player who was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks were completed successfully.
