The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, has underscored Ghana’s readiness to leverage the global platform of the 2026 FIFA World Cup to promote local products and expand export opportunities.
Speaking at the launch of the “Made in Ghana” FIFA World Cup 2026 Expo, organised by Litina Travel Club, the Minister said the initiative reflects a strategic effort to position Ghanaian goods and services on the international stage.
The Expo, scheduled for June 22–23 in Boston, is expected to showcase Ghanaian creativity, innovation, and industrial capacity to a global audience, particularly targeting the Ghanaian diaspora and international investors.
According to the Minister, the event will serve as a bridge connecting local entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and creatives to global markets, while strengthening Ghana’s competitiveness in non-traditional exports.
She noted that initiatives of this nature align with government’s broader agenda to promote “Made in Ghana” products and drive economic growth through exports.
On her part, the Chief Executive Officer of Litina Travel Club, Ernestina Abroquah Esq., described Boston as a strategic choice for the Expo.
She highlighted the city’s vibrant Ghanaian diaspora, strong business ecosystem, and global outlook as key factors that make it an ideal destination to project Ghanaian brands internationally.

She added that the Expo will not only promote Ghanaian products but also create opportunities for networking, partnerships, and investment, ultimately contributing to the growth of local industries.
