Heath Goldfields LTD has issued a firm response to what it describes as misleading public commentary about its activities at the Bogoso-Prestea Gold Mine, rejecting circulating allegations and urging reliance on verified information.

In a statement released Wednesday, April 22, the company said the claims currently in circulation on some media platforms “misrepresent material facts” and do not reflect the legal and operational framework guiding its business.

Management expressed concern that inaccurate and incomplete information could create confusion among workers, host communities, and the wider public.

The company emphasised its commitment to transparency, noting that it will continue to communicate through official and verifiable channels while maintaining engagement with regulators, employees, and other stakeholders.

Heath Goldfields confirmed that operations at the Bogoso-Prestea mine remain active. According to the statement, ongoing work is being carried out under an approved Mine Development Plan and under the supervision of the Minerals Commission of Ghana.

The company also stated that its financing and operational decisions are being executed in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. It reiterated that its primary focus remains on implementing its development plan for the mine.

Looking ahead, Heath Goldfields indicated it will provide further updates on operational progress, community initiatives, and long-term development priorities in upcoming announcements.

The statement concluded with a warning that the company reserves the right to take action against any statements it considers false, misleading, or damaging to its reputation.
