GCB Bank has held the grand finale of its “Pa To Pa” promotion, rewarding customers for their loyalty and active participation over a five-month period.

Speaking at the Final Draw event, Executive Head of Retail Banking, Sina Kamagate, said the initiative, was designed to appreciate customers while encouraging financial discipline through savings.

According to him, the promotion saw consistent monthly rewards, with ten customers winning prizes each month by accumulating points through their banking activities.

“Over the five months, we have given out 45 gadgets, ranging from refrigerators, air conditioners, televisions, among others,” he said.

In addition to the gadgets, five lucky customers emerged as winners of an all-expenses-paid trip to the United States, bringing the total number of prizes awarded under the promotion to 50.

Sina Kamagate emphasized that the bank’s success is deeply tied to its customers, making the promotion a way of giving back.

“We are a service bank and we are who we are because of the customers who do business with us. This is our opportunity to say thank you and also share in the revenue we make by making them happy,” he stated.

He further highlighted that the promotion introduced a “gamification” approach to banking, allowing customers to earn rewards while engaging in everyday financial activities.

“This is not going to be the end,” he added, revealing that the bank has already rolled out another campaign aimed at encouraging spending through Visa card transactions.

Under the new initiative, customers who spend at least GH¢10,000 on international transactions within a three-week period will qualify for rewards. The top four fastest spenders by May 25 will win trips to join the earlier winners at the World Cup.

Beyond customer rewards, Mr. Kamagate noted that the broader objective of the promotion is to deepen the culture of savings among Ghanaians.

“We believe our customers don’t just work hard, they also save. This promotion has reinforced that culture and encouraged them to continue building wealth to support their businesses and personal lifestyles,” he said.

The Pa To Pa promotion forms part of GCB Bank’s retail strategy to drive customer engagement while promoting responsible financial habits.
