A 20-year-old student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Innocentia Avinu, who had been reported missing, has been found dead on a beach, with police launching investigations into the circumstances of her death.
Her body was discovered days after she was declared missing, prompting concern among students and residents in the coastal area where she was found.
Authorities have not yet disclosed full details of the condition of the body, but there are indications that some body parts may have been missing.

Miss Avinu, a Level 200 student, was reportedly last seen after informing friends that she was leaving campus to meet an acquaintance outside the university community.
