The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced the full restoration of its vending system and payment platforms, which were disrupted following recent floods.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, ECG said efforts to resolve the technical challenges affecting its systems had been completed, allowing customers to resume normal transactions.
According to the company, customers can now top up their electricity credit through the ECG PowerApp or at any authorised vending point nationwide.
ECG urged customers who may still experience difficulties with vending services to contact its customer support centre for assistance.
“Customers experiencing any challenge with vending should kindly call our Contact Centre on 0302 611611 or via social media handles @ECGghOfficial,” the statement said.
The company expressed appreciation to customers for their patience and cooperation during the period of disruption, noting that the restoration is expected to ease access to electricity credit purchases across the country.
