Consolidated bank assesses skills of staff

Current employees of the Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited are to undergo assessment tests scheduled for September 15th and 16th, 2018.

This follows the completion of application processes for all the workers of the bank.

A memo to all staff and sighted by Citi Business News also stated that the tests will be carried out in ten centres across the country.

Successful employees are to receive their test venue as well as the competency areas they have been mapped to by the close of Friday[September 14, 2018].

The Consolidated Bank Ghana limited was created in August 2018 after the Bank of Ghana revoked the licenses of five local banks.

The bank is expected to lay off about 1,700 workers after completing all its restructuring processes by the end of September 2018.

The bank in August, laid off about 700 workers of defunct Beige bank.
