Daniel Sturridge secured Liverpool a vital point with a last-minute stunner in a 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

The striker made it two goals against his former employers in the space of four days after netting in the Reds’ Carabao Cup defeat at Anfield.

His late effort means both Liverpool and Chelsea remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season.

It looked to be heading to all three points for the hosts after a brilliant strike in the first half from Eden Hazard, who also scored in midweek.

The result means City and Liverpool sit level on points at the top, with consecutive draws leaving Chelsea two points behind in third.
