The Chairman of NGAP, Emmanuel Dubik Mahama, who is also a legal practitioner, admonished the winners and students of St. Maria Goretti JHS to use the essay competitions to improve their writing skills.

He also implored them to critically consider the STEM subjects as it is now the field with most employment opportunities.

He expressed his delight that the girls topped the essay competitions and encouraged all students to join in to make an impact. Dubik Mahama also launched the STEM creative book.

The winner walked away with a 10-inch ilearn tablet with pre-downloaded BECE questions and books while the winning school got a computer and books.

The top five students received cash prizes and books.

The GES Circuit supervisor told the students to take the competitions seriously and embrace STEM education.

He thanked NGAP and called for more of the same in order to encourage the reading and learning culture in the District and the Region as a whole.

The next edition follows closely with another district to be revealed soon.
