The Children’s Heart Foundation Ghana, a charity organisation will be hosting a fundraising event tomorrow, May 18, 2019 in Accra.
Themed ‘African Majesty’, the programme which will be held at the Omanye Hall at Labadi Beach Hotel tomorrow promises to be another exceptionally curated extravaganza of CHF Ghana.
Every year, CHF Ghana organizes a major must-attend event which brings together its Corporate Sponsor community, their families, clients’ stakeholders, and a hard working team of volunteers who provide support to the six trustees to make this event a success.
The organisation is committed to providing financial assistance to some of the approximately two hundred Ghanaian families a year who find themselves in the very stressful and difficult position of trying to save the life of their child diagnosed with a congenital heart disorder.
CHF Ghana is managed by a team of Trustees Mrs. Jacqui Ahomka-Lindsay, Ms. Dzigbordi K Dosoo, Mrs. Karen Hendrickson, Mrs. Surama King, Mrs. Grace Krobo Edusei, and Ms. Folake Ojo and supported by our committed Patrons and wonderful volunteers.
In the eight years since CHF Ghana has been in existence (thanks to the generosity of its sponsors), CHF Ghana has paid for surgeries for one hundred and twenty-five (125) children, at an average cost of over GHC 41,000 or approx. US$8,000.
That’s 125 grateful families whose lives have changed forever because their child was able to get the lifesaving surgery they could not have afforded.
CHF Ghana is inviting companies and individuals to contribute to this great cause to provide financial assistance to children and their families who are in dire need.
The programme starts at 7pm.
