Government has revealed plans to use the University of Ghana Medical Centre as a quarantine Centre for the Coronavirus. This has become necessary due to the increasing number of contacts traced from the 16 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
So far over 600 contacts have been traced with the Ministry of Health projecting an increase to more than 1,000. This was made known during a donation exercise by GCB Bank to support government’s fight against the spread of the pandemic.
