A popular National Democratic Congress (NDC) serial caller has commended the Minister of Agric, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto for his achievements within the agric sector.
According to him, no Minister for Agriculture in the country’s history has performed better than the current Minister.
Appiah Stadium, who is a harsh critic of the current administration stated emphatically on Accra based radio station, Okay FM, that he is very much impressed with the job executed by Dr. Afriyie Akoto, stressing that his performance is unparalleled.
“Let me state on authority and this is what I have personally witnessed with my eyes; what I saw at Ejura last week when I visited, the kind of support the Agriculture Minister has given to farmers and how this has resulted in a bumper harvest of foods, I must confess I have never seen it in my life,” Appiah Stadium stated.
According to him, “even the likes of Fiifi Kwetey, who was Food and Agriculture Minister under my Boss John Dramani Mahama, cannot compare himself to Dr. Akoto”.
He further stressed that “the man has done very well and must be commended”.
In the audio that has gone viral, the popular former President Mahama staunch supporter said he knows his testimony will not go down well with some leading members of the opposition NDC but “there can only be one truth in the world and that is it,” he said.
