According to African Journals Online, four main themes emerge as challenges to entrepreneurs, and these are: funding availability and accessibility; lack of planning; finding skilled labour; proper management skills; and lack of competitiveness, technology and innovation. The most talked about is ‘funding’. All these are enveloped in the topic to be discussed in this year’s edition of the MTN PULSE ‘JUST BE SERIES’. The session builds on key learnings from the third edition themed, “The Chase – Building and Developing a Trusted Brand for Your Startup/ Nonprofit”.

This fourth edition will emphasize on how entrepreneurs can secure and manage business capital to scale up, because well-managed working capital and profit investments are vital to every business’ growth.

Discussing MTN’s support for the Pulse ‘Just Be Series’, the Chief Commercial Officer for MTN Ghana, Mr. Noel Kojo -Ganson explained that MTN is working towards its Ambition2025 which is focused on ‘leading digital solutions for Africa’s Progress’.

One of the key approaches to doing this is through the creation of platforms which business owners can plug into to reach a much wider market and grow their operations. We are therefore confident that the partnership with Ahaspora Professionals Network through the MTN Pulse ‘Just be Series’ will yield the expected results in preparing young entrepreneurs for the opportunities ahead. I urge all young entrepreneurs to join the conversation on September 10th.”
