Talented Afro-Soul singer Josh Blakk has offered a heartening perspective on the state of the Ghanaian music industry.

Speaking to GhanaWeekend, Josh Blakk emphasised the strides being made in recent years:

“There’s been a lot of talk, a lot of effort…Everyone’s pushing out music, but now there’s a real emphasis on sound and professionalism. We’re not just churning out tracks anymore, we’re striving for excellence.”He said

He further stressed that those who are leading the charge must be celebrated: “Let’s give the artists who are putting in the work their due. We need to shine a light on their achievements and keep the momentum going.”

Josh Blakk made his debut in the Ghanaian music industry in 2016. He is currently out with his latest album, O.N.E. The album contains hits like “Iyawu,” “Through the Night,” “Hankipanki,” and “Number 1.”
