The Member of Parliament for Bole, Yussif Sulemana, is predicting that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win all seven parliamentary seats in the Savannah region in the upcoming December 7 elections.
Mr. Sulemana said the constituents of the region have learned their lessons in 2020 by for voting for the New Patriotic Party.
Speaking during the campaign launch of the NDC in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, the Bole MP said the NDC will take back the three parliamentary seats that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has in the region.
He also urged Ghanaians to vote to elect John Dramani Mahama as president in the upcoming polls to empower and build a resilient agriculture sector.
“I stand here to give you the assurance that we are ready to right the wrongs that happened in 2020. I stand here to tell you that we have learned our lessons. The great NDC will take all seven seats in the Savannah region. I stand here to give you some good news for our gallant farmers. John Dramani Mahama is a farmer himself and he is coming for farmers and he is the best person to solve the problems of farmers.
“He [John Dramani Mahama] will establish an irrigation scheme to ensure all-year-round farming.”
