The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ledzokuku, Mordecai Quarshie, has underscored the significant strides made in enhancing the road infrastructure within the municipality.

Speaking during an interview on Eyewitness News on Citi FM on Wednesday, Quarshie highlighted the extensive road resurfacing projects as a key achievement of his administration.

He emphasized that improving the roads across Ledzokuku has been a major success, contributing to better transportation and accessibility for residents.

“Roads, yes our roads were in a bad shape and we’ve resurfaced them, we’ve done a lot,” Quarshie stated.

He detailed several key projects, including “The Century Road from First Junction which has been resurfaced. Also, the LEKMA road from Adjorman Roundabout to LEKMA Hospital has also been resurfaced.

“King Kotei Street has been resurfaced all the way from the Yoomo Space Junction all the way through to Manfe, it’s been done. Martin Sowah Street has been done right through to the end.

“Coffee Street has been done right through to the end. As we speak, we are working on Volta Street. We’ve also done the LEKMA Assembly road,” he stated.

But Quarshie noted there were plans to fix other roads which were in a bad state.
