The University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL) has officially extended its appreciation to businessman and philanthropist Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for his generous contribution of concrete materials for the School’s new building complex.
The gesture, announced on Monday, June 23, 2025, marks a significant milestone in the School’s infrastructure development and is expected to enhance teaching, learning and research at Ghana’s premier legal education institution.
The donation forms part of a commitment by Mr. Mahama to support tertiary institutions across the country, reinforcing his dedication to national development through education.
His company – Dzata Cement, is credited for supplying the materials, while Engineers and Planners, another of his businesses, has played a supporting role in related projects.
“Huge applause for Mr. Ibrahim Mahama. We are grateful for your support in enhancing our building complex at the University of Ghana School of Law. Thank you for your commitment to our community,” the School noted in a public statement.
