Elorm Foli, founder of Syde Hassle by EK Brand Consult and sponsor of the This is Ghana Exhibition, says his outfit is ready to train and support entrepreneurs and startups in branding, marketing, and technology — all for free.
According to him, almost 90 per cent of small businesses and startups fail to survive beyond their fifth year, largely due to limited access to the right information and tools to thrive.
Speaking on Breakfast Daily on Channel One TV, Mr. Foli explained that the project will provide training for startups, the unemployed, and underemployed individuals through seminars, workshops, and information sharing.
“In the last two years, we have worked with 200 people at various levels of their business, and it has all been completely free. The idea is for us to have workshops, seminars, and provide information all the way from unemployed and underemployed … This year, one of our focuses is to scale up and reach more people,” he said.
He added that equipping businesses with the right tools and knowledge is key to growth and job creation.
“The idea is that with more tools and information and the easier to access it, the more likely it is that you’re going to grow your company and hire more people,” Mr. Foli stated.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, Syde Hassle has already trained over 200 people at different stages of their business journey for free in the past two years.
The 2025 This is Ghana Exhibition will take place from Saturday, September 6, to Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra, showcasing indigenous businesses, creativity, and innovation.
The THIS IS GHANA EXHIBITION 2025 is powered by Channel One TV and Citi FM.
