An oil spill reported from the Accra Mall stretch towards Tema has caused at least three accidents along the busy corridor, prompting urgent safety warnings to motorists.
Motorists using the route are being strongly advised to reduce speed and drive with extreme caution to avoid further crashes.
The spillage has left the road surface dangerously slippery, posing risks especially for smaller vehicles and motorbikes.
According to preliminary information, authorities have been alerted to the incident, and the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) has been informed to take immediate action.
