A broken-down truck has caused significant traffic congestion on the stretch just past the Spanner bus stop, directly in front of the Africa Regent Hotel, heading toward the Airport traffic light in Accra.
The incident, which occurred in the early hours of Thursday, December 11, 2025, left the truck positioned across part of the road, restricting the free flow of vehicles along the busy corridor.
Commuters report heavy delays as officers from the Ghana Police Service work to manage the situation and direct traffic.
Police personnel are currently on the ground ensuring safety and attempting to ease the gridlock while efforts are made to clear the vehicle from the road.
Motorists using the route are advised to expect delays or consider alternative routes until the obstruction is removed.
