Mohammed Shiraz-Deen, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of Savannah Regional Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In a statement to party members, he said his decision follows extensive consultations with stakeholders across the Savannah Region, highlighting the need for effective and proactive communication as the party undergoes internal restructuring.
Shiraz-Deen brings years of experience within the party’s ranks, having served at various levels of its organisational structure.
He began his political journey as a Polling Station Secretary and later served as Deputy Constituency Secretary and Constituency IT Coordinator. He currently holds the position of Constituency Secretary for Bole-Bamboi.
He noted that his long-standing service has provided him with a deep understanding of the party’s communication needs from the grassroots to the regional level.
“My vision is to build a vibrant and responsive communication team that delivers clear and timely information to party members and the public,” Shiraz-Deen said. He also pledged to prioritise training and capacity-building for communication officers at the polling station, constituency, and regional levels.
Shiraz-Deen appealed to party members for their prayers and support as he prepares to file his nomination officially, expressing confidence that through unity, teamwork, and effective communication, the NPP in the Savannah Region can become stronger, more organised, and better positioned for future political success.
