Day three of the 2026 Heritage Caravan reached thrilling heights as participants visited the iconic Paga Crocodile Pond in the Upper East Region.

Excitement and a touch of apprehension mingled as visitors took turns standing close to, touching, and even holding the sacred crocodiles, all under the watchful eyes of site attendants.

The adventure didn’t stop there. The caravan also marked the opening of the “Bolga We Dey” fair and exhibition in Bolgatanga, where locally crafted products—ranging from hats and bags to fugu—were on display.

Patrons explored the vibrant market, with some indulging in window shopping while others eagerly purchased items, supporting local artisans and businesses.

Patrons also explored the Burkina Faso border, observing the northern boundary that separates Ghana from its neighbor.

Running from March 1 to 8, 2026, the Heritage Caravan will traverse 14 regions across Ghana. To celebrate a decade of this cultural showcase, this year’s edition has expanded to four buses, accommodating more participants and a broader range of activities.

The 2026 caravan is a fusion of cultural discovery, culinary delights, and musical entertainment, offering a rich exploration of Ghana’s diverse heritage through regions including Greater Accra, Eastern, Volta, and beyond.

The event is proudly supported by corporate sponsors including GOIL, Multi Pro Company, OmniBisc, Didi Shito, Gino Tomato Paste, Nana’s Rice, Caveman Watches, Hollard Insurance, and Peeva Beverages.
