The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has deployed multiple firefighting teams to battle a fire outbreak at Bubuashie, Atiko Junction in Accra.
According to the Service, three fire pumps from the Industrial Area Fire Station, Circle Fire Station, and the National Headquarters have already been dispatched to the scene to bring the situation under control.
A fourth fire appliance from the Dansoman Fire Station has also been deployed to reinforce ongoing firefighting efforts.
In a statement on Facebook, the GNFS said personnel are actively engaged in containing the blaze and urged the public to remain calm as operations continue.
“Standby for further updates,” the Service added.
