The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) successfully contained a commercial fire outbreak at the headquarters of Coral Paint located in Adabraka, Accra, preventing the incident from escalating into a major disaster.
According to the GNFS, firefighters from the Industrial Area Fire Station responded swiftly after receiving a distress call on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The emergency alert was reportedly received through the Fire Master Control at exactly 12:38 p.m.
The fire crew quickly mobilised to the scene and arrived within minutes at about 12:49 p.m. to begin firefighting operations.
Upon arrival, personnel discovered that the blaze had engulfed a recording studio situated on the second floor of the commercial building.
Preliminary investigations by the fire service indicate that the fire may have been triggered by an electrical fault within the studio facility.
