President John Dramani Mahama has ended his two-day Resetting Ghana Tour of the Eastern Region with an inspection of ongoing works on the Akosombo–Gyakiti–Kudukope Feeder Road.

The project which spans approximately 32km, involves the upgrading of the road to bituminous standard, including drainage systems, culverts, and related infrastructure to improve connectivity between communities within the enclave.

According to contractors working on site the project is about 36% in physical progress and is expected to enhance transportation, facilitate trade, and improve access for residents across the entire area.

President John Dramani Mahama described the road as a priority intervention and emphasised the need for quality and timely completion. He urged the contractor to expedite work and deliver to standard to meet the expectations of the people.
