Businessman and founder of the PK Amoabeng Leadership Foundation, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, has warned that Africa will continue to lag behind unless the continent develops selfless and visionary leaders committed to fighting corruption and serving society.
Speaking at the Foundation’s “Alumni Brunch” held at The Living Room Restaurant at East Legon on Saturday, June 6, 2026, he lamented what he described as the growing collapse of values, weak respect for systems, and selfish leadership across the continent.
According to him, the Foundation is focused on grooming young leaders with integrity, empathy, and a sense of responsibility capable of restoring hope in Ghana and Africa.
“We are raising leaders who can give hope a chance,” he stated.
The event brought together young professionals from Cohort One and Cohort Two of the Foundation’s leadership programme to build community, deliberate on project ideas, and strengthen collaboration among alumni.
Participants also made presentations on proposed projects, which were discussed collectively during the engagement.
Chief Executive Officer of Caveman Watches, Anthony Dzamefe, who addressed participants at the event, urged young people to remain patient, disciplined, and avoid cutting corners in their pursuit of success.
Sharing lessons from his entrepreneurial journey, he encouraged the youth to trust the process and focus on long-term growth rather than quick success.
Mr. Dzamefe also recounted his life story and engaged participants in an interactive question-and-answer session on entrepreneurship, leadership, and resilience.
“Young people must learn to trust the process, remain patient, and avoid cutting corners in their pursuit of success.”
