The Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, has inaugurated a newly constituted Advisory Board of the Ghana Psychology Council.
The Board is expected to support the Council in ensuring effective regulation of psychological services in Ghana, including the supervision of practitioners, accrediting programmes, the promotion of professional standards, and the safeguarding of ethical conduct within the field of psychology.

Inaugurating the Board, Mr. Akandoh urged members to discharge their mandate with diligence and commitment and to provide strategic leadership and strengthen the regulation of psychological practice in the country.

The Ghana Psychology Council is responsible for regulating the practice of psychology in the country, including the registration of practitioners and the enforcement of standards governing psychological services.
