Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has announced free World Cup viewing centres and complimentary meals for residents across the constituency.
In a Facebook post, John Dumelo disclosed that he has paid for DSTV subscriptions at television viewing centres across the constituency and provided giant screens at selected locations, including Abelemkpe, Okponglo, Mempasem, Airport Residential Area, West Legon, and Dzorwulu, for residents to watch Ghana’s matches free of charge.
The MP also stated that 13 kenkey vendors have been engaged to provide free meals, comprising kenkey and fish, to supporters attending the viewing centres during Ghana’s games.
The initiative is aimed at bringing football fans together, while rallying support for the Black Stars throughout the tournament.
