The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has launched a 75th Anniversary Commemorative Book as part of activities marking the institution’s diamond jubilee celebrations.
The 350-page publication captures the rich history, achievements and enduring legacy of the university since its establishment. It highlights the contributions of distinguished individuals, alumni, staff and other stakeholders who have played significant roles in advancing the growth of KNUST, Ghana and the global community.
The book chronicles key milestones in the university’s history while tracing the founding vision upon which the institution was built. It pays tribute to the visionaries who established KNUST and honours the countless individuals whose dedication and service have helped shape the university into one of Africa’s leading centres of higher learning.
Speaking at the launch, Chancellor of KNUST, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, described the publication as more than a historical record, stating that its true value would be measured by future generations who draw inspiration from the university’s journey and accomplishments.
According to the university, the commemorative book serves as a bridge between KNUST’s illustrious past and its aspirations for the future, preserving the stories, achievements and ideals that continue to define the institution’s growth and impact.
