The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Tema West has assured that all salaries and benefits due to its missing Women’s Organiser continue to be paid to her family, more than two years after her disappearance.

The Constituency Women’s Organiser, Paulina Lamisi-Akanbodiipo, has been missing since June 12, 2024, after she reportedly disappeared while on a party assignment.

Speaking to Citi News, the Deputy Women’s Organiser for Tema West, Everlove Yankson, said the party has maintained full financial accountability regarding her entitlements and insisted that records are available to back the payments.

“Whatever goes on in the constituency, I am aware. Anything that comes in, her share is given to the family, which I am 100% sure of. Even our treasurer can attest to that. The records are there,” she said.

She added that although the matter has drawn public attention over time, the family continues to receive what is due her.

According to her, the party’s national leadership has yet to re-engage the constituency on the issue, even after earlier discussions and consideration of a press briefing on the matter.

The disappearance of Paulina Lamisi-Akabodipo remains unresolved, with no official update on her whereabouts since 2024.
