Stakeholders from government, industry and the private sector convened on Thursday, June 11, 2026, for a roundtable discussion under the Citi Business Festival to examine how Ghanaian businesses can maximise opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Held on the theme, “Unlocking Africa’s Single Market: How Can Ghanaian Businesses Win Under AfCFTA?”, the discussion focused on practical strategies for helping local businesses expand their footprint across the continent and compete effectively within Africa’s integrated market.

The engagement formed part of the month-long Citi Business Festival, which provides a platform for dialogue on key issues affecting business growth, trade and investment.

Participants explored issues including market access, trade facilitation, competitiveness and the steps Ghanaian enterprises must take to benefit from the opportunities offered by AfCFTA.
