Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has reaffirmed his position that the Ghanaian youth deserve an experienced and committed leader.
“The youth are the future of our nation, and they deserve a leader who is experienced, ready and committed to Building Ghana We All Want Together,” the former President noted in a thank you statement after the party’s campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27.
The 2024 John Mahama Campaign Team also expressed appreciation to the chiefs and people of Ghana, Tamale, and the Northern Region, as well as all persons who supported making the event successful.
The statement signed by spokesperson, Joyce Bawa Mogtari added that they were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and enthusiasm for the NDC’s vision of a better Ghana.

Accra- Ghana: We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the chiefs and people of Ghana, Tamale and the Northern Region, supporters, sympathisers and executives of the great National Democratic Congress (NDC), the media, security agencies, and all who contributed to the successful launch of the NDC 2024 campaign on the theme “Change to Reset Ghana”.
We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and enthusiasm for our vision of a better Ghana. John Dramani Mahama’s message that the youth of Ghana cannot afford to waste another four (4) years resonates deeply with all.
