The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has announced October 22 and November 19, 2024, for its first and second presidential debates respectively.
IEA in a statement announced that it has scheduled two Presidential Debates, one Vice Presidential Debate and five Evening Encounters ahead of the December 7 polls.
The Vice Presidential debate will also come off on November 5, 2024.
The first out of the five evening encounters will happen on Wednesday, September 18 with the last expected to happen on Tuesday, October 15.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has already stated that the party’s flagbearer will not be part of the debate due to concerns raised about the credibility of the organisers.
