Ghana’s Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mubarak, has held high-level talks with Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, in Riyadh.

The meeting, marked by a warm welcome from the Saudi Minister, focused on strengthening security cooperation between the two countries.

Discussions centered on addressing emerging threats and deepening collaboration in areas such as law enforcement, counter-terrorism, intelligence sharing, and capacity building.
Mubarak described the engagement as fruitful, noting that both nations are committed to building enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation.

“This engagement reflects our collective resolve to enhance bilateral relations and safeguard the mutual interests of Ghana and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he said.

The talks signal a renewed commitment to advancing Ghana-Saudi ties, particularly in the area of security, at a time when regional and global threats require stronger partnerships.
