President John Dramani Mahama has delivered his second State of the Nation Address, outlining the government’s performance across key sectors including health, the economy, education and infrastructure.
On healthcare, the President cautioned facilities against turning away patients, insisting that emergency cases must be attended to regardless of bed availability as part of efforts to address the persistent “no-bed syndrome.”
Touching on the fight against corruption, he disclosed that the Economic and Organised Crime Office has recovered more than GH₵600 million in stolen public funds through intensified enforcement actions.
On the economy, President Mahama announced what he described as significant progress in employment and poverty reduction, revealing that over one million Ghanaians secured jobs between the first and third quarters of 2025.
