A total of 1,679 prospective applicants who qualified for the medical examination screening in the ongoing recruitment exercise for the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service have participated in the exercise at the Damongo Community Centre in the Savannah Region.
The Savannah Regional Commander of the Ghana Immigration Service, Deputy Commissioner of Immigration (DCI) Lawrence Agyei Agyepong, stated that the process will span four days.
He added that the exercise has so far been successful, with no major challenges recorded.

He cautioned applicants against paying any unauthorised fees to individuals, stressing that the recruitment process remains transparent and free.
He further urged applicants to report anyone who demands money to the appropriate authorities.
“The medical screening exercise is progressing very smoothly. It is expected to last four days, during which a total of 1,679 applicants will be screened.
“So far, as we tour the various centres, the exercise is proceeding smoothly without any challenges. We are hopeful for an incident-free process to ensure that the government’s planned recruitment exercise is successfully carried out as expected,” he said.
