Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has unveiled a new membership programme for his fan base, the Shatta Movement, introducing the SM Gold Card as part of efforts to formally register and identify members worldwide.

Shatta Wale announced that the movement is ready to officially register its members using real identity and personal data through a newly created online platform.

“We are ready to officialise our Shatta Movement members with real identities and data. Register now by clicking the link below. Get your Gold Card membership after registration with just GHC100 to enjoy premium services around the world,” he wrote.

According to promotional materials shared by the artiste, the SM Gold Card will cost GHC100 and comes with several benefits, including an official Shatta Movement member status, a unique membership number, access to all fan chapters, and entry into an exclusive fan community.

The card is being offered on a limited membership basis.

Speaking further in a video explaining the initiative, Shatta Wale said the registration drive is aimed at building a stronger and more organised community that can undertake long-term development projects.

“What I’m telling you guys for us to build, it’s not me alone, it’s us,” he said. “This whole ShattaMovementFanbase.com site that I’ve created is for us to get identified because we are going to be doing projects.”

The award-winning musician revealed ambitions to use the collective strength of the fan base to establish hospitals, schools, companies and factories while creating opportunities for members and supporting community development initiatives.

He also noted that the membership card would grant fans access to exclusive experiences, including free entry to selected Shatta Movement events and opportunities to interact with him personally at social gatherings and movie outings.

Shatta Wale encouraged members of the movement to embrace a culture of collective growth, financial discipline and self-development, stressing that the initiative is designed to help members build sustainable futures together.

“Let us learn how to build together,” he said. “When we have enough money, we can put it into projects and do things that will help ourselves and the communities around us.”
