The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has begun the second day of his nationwide inspection tour of road projects, with a focus on key rehabilitation and reconstruction works across the Volta Region.

The day’s inspection covers several strategic projects along the Eastern Corridor, including the rehabilitation of the Asikuma Junction–Anyirawase Road, the reconstruction of the Anyirawase–Ho–Titrinu Road, rehabilitation works on the Ho–Kpetoe Road, and the Kpetoe–Aveafiadenyigba Road.

The Minister will also inspect the rehabilitation of the Penyi–Aflao Road.

The tour forms part of the government’s efforts to monitor the progress of ongoing road projects, engage contractors on project timelines, address implementation challenges, and ensure value for money in the delivery of critical road infrastructure.

Throughout the inspections, the Minister is expected to assess the pace and quality of work, interact with consultants and contractors, and reiterate government’s commitment to ensuring road projects are completed on schedule and in accordance with approved engineering standards.
