Head of Production at Channel One TV, Victoria Delali Dogbe, has been shortlisted to serve as a jury member for the 2026 edition of the Black Star International Film Festival (BSIFF).
The announcement was made in a social media post by the Black Star International Film Festival on Sunday, July 12, with organisers describing the accomplished producer, director and media professional as an experienced creative whose work continues to shape Ghana’s film and television landscape.
In welcoming her to the jury, the festival praised Victoria’s commitment to authentic African storytelling, noting that her experience, creative insight and production expertise will play a key role in recognising outstanding films from across the continent and beyond.
“Through her work, she continues to contribute significantly to the growth of Ghana’s film and television industry. We are honoured to welcome Victoria Delali Dogbe to the BSIFF 2026 Jury, where her experience, creative insight, and dedication to African storytelling will help celebrate outstanding filmmaking from across the continent and beyond,” the organisers said.
Victoria currently serves as Head of Production at Channel One TV, where she leads television productions and oversees the development of engaging broadcast content.
She is also the producer and director of The Blanksons, a contemporary Ghanaian family dramedy that explores love, ambition, family dynamics and everyday life through a distinctly Ghanaian lens. She also produced and directed The Hairdresser’s, further demonstrating her strength in episodic storytelling.
Her experience extends across both television and feature films. She served as Production and Location Coordinator on Master & 3 Maids and Production Manager on Side Chic Gang and was part of the production team behind the Ghanaian-Nigerian feature film One Night Guests, building extensive expertise in managing productions from development through execution.
Victoria has established herself as one of Ghana’s respected media professionals, combining creative vision with production excellence while championing stories that are authentic, relatable and impactful.
Her appointment to the BSIFF 2026 jury marks another significant milestone in her career and underscores the growing recognition of Ghanaian film and television professionals on the international stage.
