Ghana’s leading total beverage business, Guinness Ghana, underscored its stellar and industry-leading credentials by sweeping six awards at the 2023 Ghana Beverage Awards.

The awards include International Spirits Brand of the Year with Johnnie Walker; Beverage Campaign of the Year with Star Beer ‘Shine on’ Campaign and Ready To Drink (RTD) Brand of the Year with Smirnoff Ice.

The others are International Beer of the Year with Heineken; Indigenous Brand of the Year with Orijin RTD and International Liqueur of the Year with Baileys.

The 64-year-old listed beverage business has remained at the forefront of innovation, industry-leading sustainability initiatives and production excellence with its wide range of world-class beverages enjoyed by its consumers on all occasions.

Managing Director of Guinness Ghana, Felicite Nson, noted that the recognition underscores the company’s focus on its people and its consumers and customers.

“These awards are for our people, the hard-working staff and management of Guinness Ghana. They have made this possible. We share this award with our key distributors and customers across the country who continue to support our business and make our world-class beverages available on all occasions and gatherings.”

“We remain committed to doing our part to address the most material issues facing our company, people, brands, suppliers and communities. We will continue to promote positive drinking, champion inclusion and diversity and work to preserve the natural resources on which we all depend. At the heart of it all, we will continue to do business the right way in everything we do.

The eighth edition of the Ghana Beverage Awards was organized under the theme “Inspiring Excellence in Ghana’s Beverage Industry”.
