Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Senior Campaign Adviser to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has lauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer for his remarkable leadership qualities and contributions to Ghana’s development.

During an interview on Channel One TV’s The Point of View, Agyepong underscored Dr Bawumia’s impressive track record at the Bank of Ghana, coupled with his 7-year tenure as Vice President, which he said reflects his capacity for strong, results-driven leadership.

Agyepong highlighted Dr Bawumia’s innovative ideas and boundless energy, noting his unique ability to bridge the gap between Muslims and Christians by focusing on their common Ghanaian identity.

He further urged party members to set aside any lingering grievances and unite behind Dr Bawumia in a concerted effort to secure victory in the 2024 elections.

“The former General Secretary of the NPP underscored, “His background has made him very empathetic…He’s someone most party people give affection to and that is very good… He has been selected by the party and I respect the authority of the party.

He won significantly. I think Bawumia has the opportunity to lead this country and the party in a new dimension, in a new era, with new ideas and new energy.

“Of course, he has learnt a lot from the difficulties that we have seen, over the last two, three years, especially after the economy spiralled out of control.”
