Legendary Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has shared that he doesn’t particularly miss his iconic ‘Pusher’ character from the classic TV series Things We Do For Love.

Widely regarded as one of Ghana’s most popular TV series, Things We Do For Love captured the challenges, friendships, and romantic entanglements of Ghanaian youth, balancing school life and family pressures.

The character of ‘Pusher’ became a fan favourite, but Anang says he’s content to move forward with new roles, even though the show remains a cherished part of Ghana’s entertainment history.

The cast included Nat Banini, Jackie Appiah, Adjetey Anang, Majid Michel and the late Vincent MacCauley.  Pusher (Adjetey Anang) was in a relationship with Dede, but had other girlfriends.

He caused nearly all the trouble in the neighbourhood. Adjetey Anang rose to prominence after portraying the character Pusher in the popular TV series that aired in 2003.

Speaking on Channel One TV’s ‘The Chat’, the celebrated Ghanaian actor who was on the show to promote the upcoming movie PAWN said,” I don’t necessarily miss the Pusher Character”.

He further told the host of the show Ekow Koomson,” Yolo keeps it going…it’s just matured and older…Maybe miss the company we had we lived free we were just focusing on the art…We didn’t have many responsibilities because most of us were students — we were still in school…So not much to be worried about …I miss that”.

‘Pawn’, a movie produced by Lynx Entertainment is a psychological thriller film incorporating elements of mystery, drama, action, and paranoia.

Prominent actors Sika Osei, Gloria Sarfo, Lydia Forson, Richmond Amoakoh, Prince David Osei Nana Gyasi Owusu and Adjetey Anang make up the great list of lead cast in the power-packed movie.

The movie will be released on November 2, 2024.
