Vivian Kai Lokko, the Head of News at Channel One TV and Citi FM, has reached another milestone in her illustrious career, graduating with a Master of Science in International Business degree from the University of Ghana Business School, Legon.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Cedi Auditorium on Thursday, February 20, brought together distinguished academics, industry professionals, and families of graduating students.

Widely known as Her Lokkoship, Vivian Kai Lokko has built a reputation as one of Ghana’s most respected Broadcast Journalists and news editors.

Her journey in journalism spans years of dedication, during which she has contributed significantly to news broadcasting, media analysis, and public discourse.

As Head of News at Channel One TV and Citi FM, Her Lokkoship has played a pivotal role in shaping Ghana’s news coverage, ensuring that audiences receive timely, accurate, and in-depth reporting on national and international affairs.

Under her leadership, both media platforms have become renowned for their high journalistic standards and insightful analysis of current events.

Beyond her editorial responsibilities, she is also the host of What the Papers Are Saying, a widely followed news discussion programme on Channel One TV.

Through this platform, she dissects major news headlines, providing context and opinions to help viewers understand the most pressing issues of the day.

Her ability to break down complex stories and facilitate meaningful discussions has made her a household name in Ghanaian journalism.

Pursuing a Master’s degree while managing the demanding role of Head of News is no small feat, yet Vivian successfully navigated the challenges of balancing work and studies.

Her decision to further her education in International Business underscores her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Also, the Channel One TV’s Deputy Administrative Manager Annetta Ogboe Adusu and Citi FM’s Sales Manager, Miriam Ivy Oduro, earned degrees in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and Marketing Strategy, respectively.
